This unofficial club is part of Yubiwa Academy Middle School, where the members work in secret to solve problems.
Their office is an unused art classroom, which has been gorgeously renovated to the point that it barely looks like part of a school anymore. The artworks inside are mostly replicas made by Sosaku.
This is a coming-of-age mystery series where the protagonist, Mayumi Doujima, beautifully solves cases with the five members of the Pretty Boy Detective Club.

Mayumi Doujima: Maaya Sakamoto
Mayumi belongs to class 2-B at Yubiwa Academy. She has been looking for a star she saw 10 years ago. She entrusts the Pretty Boy Detective Club to look for the star.
Manabu Soutouin: Ayumu Murase
Manabu is the leader of the Pretty Boy Detective Club. He is a beautiful boy who puts great emphasis on being beautiful. His saying is "The only thing I have is aesthetics". He is called "Manabu of aesthetics".
Nagahiro Sakiguchi: Taito Ban
Nagahiro is the assistant leader of the Pretty Boy Detective Club. He belongs to class 3-A at Yubiwa Academy. He has been successively elected the president of the student council due to his attractive voice and charismatic speech. He is called "Nagahiro of the Beautiful voice".
Michiru Fukuroi: Toshiki Masuda
Michiru belongs to class 2-A at Yubiwa Academy. He is famous as a leader of a juvenile delinquent boys' group, but he has amazing cooking skill comparable to a professional chef. He is called "Michiru the Gourmet".
Hyouta Ashikaga: Shougo Yano
Hyouta belongs to class 1-A at Yubiwa Academy. He is the ace of the track and field club and always wears shorts. He is called "Hyouta of the Beautiful Legs".
Sousaku Yubiwa: Gen Satou
Sousaku belongs to class 1-A at Yubiwa Academy. He is a genius and the successor of the Yubiwa Foundation which supports Yubiwa Academy. He is called ”Sousaku of Art”.
