FINALLY! We had that prequel or whatever it was for The Seven Deadly Sins in Summer 2016, but that was only 4 episodes.
honeys anime character
Excellent. I was getting tired of watching Fullmetal Alchemist and the re-do Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

I am more just excited to see all the characters come back as well as the seiyuu and staff. The best part? This has been confirmed to be a TV series.

honeys anime character
Hmm yes but be aware that that is what they said last time for Signs of Holy War, and that ended up being only four episodes. Be careful and marathon something else while you wait. Fairy Tail and Magi are great places to start!

Synopsis

This is the official 2nd Season of The Seven Deadly Sins (Nanatsu no Taizai).

The current era is that of one where the world of humans and the world of those who are non-human have not been separated. With great and terrible power, revered by many, and sometimes feared by the population, the Holy Knights protected the Kingdom of Liones. The princess of the kingdom, Princess Elizabeth, just one person, has stepped out of her country on a journey searching for some certain people.

They are feared as the most powerful and darkest band of knights, betraying their country, and making the Holy Knights their enemies; they are the great sinners, for they are the Seven Deadly Sins.

After her arduous journey, she arrives at a bar where she encounters the store owner; a boy named Meliodas. That is where she, the Seven Deadly Sins, and the world’s fate itself, begin to change greatly. Doing an about-face, the adventure begins!

Characters & Voice Actors List

Meliodas

Voice Actor: Yuki Kaji

Runs the travelling bar Boar Hat whilst journeying around. He looks like a young man, but he’s actually a member of the Seven Deadly Sins, Dragon's Sin of Wrath. He’s a bit of a pervert, but he’s a reliable leader.

Elizabeth

Voice Actor: Sora Amamiya

The third princess of the Liones Kingdom. She’s the one who went out to find Melodias and the other Seven Deadly Sins and saved the kingdom from danger. She’s a bit of a cry baby, but she’s also a cute princess with strong faith and a heart of gold.

Hawk

Voice Actor: Misaki Kuno

A pig that can speak human language - a rare creature even in this world. He sacrificed himself to save his friends during the battle with Hendrickson and Dreyfus, but the after effect (?) of this is that he now looks teeny. The kind of guy you just can’t hate, even though he thinks he’s the strongest warrior ever and talks to everyone with an arrogant attitude.

Diane

Voice Actor: Aoi Yuuki

One of the Seven Deadly Sins, Serpent's Sin of Envy. The daughter of a family of giants, she is far taller and stronger than the average human, but she’s very innocent on the inside. She’s currently using the secret medicine she got from Merlin to stay human sized.

Ban

Voice Actor: Tatsuhisa Suzuki

One of the Seven Deadly Sins, Fox's Sin of Greed. Also known as Undead Ban. Is quite happy to steal anything that takes his interest, and is usually apathetic towards anything he’s not interested in. He loves alcohol, but gets drunk really easily.
