Let’s start with Domestic na Kanojo, the anime that inspired this idea. It’s not the first of its kind, but it is the anime that is airing this season, so it’ll be the newest and freshest on the anime scene. Domestic na Kanojo is an anime about Natsuo, a high school student, who is in love with his teacher, Hina. In an effort to ditch his feelings, he goes to a mixer and randomly sleeps with a quiet girl named Rui. It turns out that Rui and Hina are both sisters and now, they are both Natsuo’s stepsisters.

Clearly, this wouldn’t be the awkward family situation that it is if Natsuo didn’t sleep with Rui, although let’s be honest, Rui is the one who put him up to it. So really, if Rui kept it in her pants, they might all get along. Then Natsuo only makes it worse by being sexually attracted to Rui constantly while pursuing a relationship with Hina. Then there’s the fact that Hina was pursuing a relationship with a married man. All three of them would just get along if they didn’t want to sleep with each other all the damn time! That’s no way to start a family! Or maybe it is...

Kuzu no Honkai stars Hanabi and Mugi who are in a relationship with each other because they cannot pursue a relationship with the people they really like because those two are in a relationship with each other. That already sets things into motion, but wait, there’s more. There’s Sanae who makes the move on Hanabi, but Sanae’s cousin makes a move on Sanae. Then there’s Akane who is sleeping with everyone else while dating Narumi, and all the people in between. It’s a whole cast of characters sleeping with each other because they use feelings to manipulate the others and the only characters not getting any are the two nicest characters!

While White Album 2 could be mentioned in this article, it’s really the first White Album that deserves a spot in this article. White Album follows Touya, who is in a relationship with an idol named Yuki. Then there are other characters like Yuki’s manager or Touya’s friends who get in between their relationship. Touya finds himself sleeping with just about everyone while trying to maintain his pure relationship with Yuki while hurting everyone else. Oh, and there’s music involved, too, which is supposed to be what the anime is about, but really, it’s about Touya’s numerous conquests and his relationship struggles with Yuki.

Now comes the most memorable anime that wouldn’t have happened if they kept it in their pants. School Days. If you haven’t seen it, you’ve heard of it. You may have played the game. You may have read the manga. Either way, it’s out there and well known in the Western anime world.

It’s about a boy named Makoto who likes Kotonoha, then he’s seduced by Sekai who likes him, so maybe Sekai should have kept it in her pants first. However, soon, Makoto tries to get into just about everyone’s pants and then some, while leaving Kotonoha behind. Sekai tries to use sex as a way of getting into a relationship with Makoto while Kotonoha refuses to see reality. It all becomes about getting a little piece of Makoto until finally, we cut out to the infamous last episode. School Days would literally be nothing if the characters, especially Sekai and Makoto, kept it in their pants.
