This fall was an awesome season for women in anime. We wanted to recap some of the cutest heroines of the fall season!
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder they say, and so is cuteness.
The list we’ve compiled has a diverse list of personalities, but they’re all loveable and engaging in their own ways!
5. Isuzu Sento from Amagi Brilliant Park
Isuzu Sento from Amagi brilliant park proved that even stoic, and awkward people can still be cute as all heck! Originally tasked with managing the park, Isuzu had a difficult time of things.
She puts one a stone face most of the time, but there’s a well of feeling underneath that comes to light as the show goes on. She has trouble socializing, but it plays out in adorable ways, like her practice of overusing emojis when she texts on her phone, usually ones that have very little to do with what she’s saying. Plus, she may have the cutest outfit of any character this fall!
4. Amira from Rage of Bahamut Genesis (Shingeki no Bahamut Genesis)
Lady Amira may or may not be a horcrux-esque weapon that, if activated could lead to the destruction of the entire world but, she still so darn adorable.
Amira is a one-winged demon, who exists in a world of cosmic struggle between Men, Angels, Gods and Demons. As of now, she doesn’t belong to any of them; she’s easy to empathize with since her character was really just given a raw deal.
She can sometimes act a little bit childish, but this is often cuter than anything. Also, if pressed, she’s more than able to handle herself in a fight, especially when she goes into her demon-format. Did I mention she’s always hungry? You and I are one in the same, Amira!
3. Rin Tohsaka From Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works
Tsundere Personified, Rin is back at it in the new rendition of the Fate/Stay Night universe. This time, we see more and more of Rin’s character and her relationships with Archer, Shirou, and others.
Unlimited Blade Works also does a lot for Rin as the gorgeous visuals of Unlimited Blade Works really show off just how well-designed her character is. Rin is definitely feisty, but the series exposes a lot of her soft-side, and it’s great to watch and already widely-loved character given another layer of dept.
2. Yuuki Konno from Sword Art Online II
This character definitely has an amazing personality. She has a real ability to catch people’s attention and really pull them in emotionally.
Her past in the world before the players of Sword Art Online became all too real really pulls at your heartstrings. She’s someone who is willing to fight to back up what she believes in, and has definite spunk to begin with.
Over all, there’s not anything to not like about her! Sword Art Online has gained popularity over the strength of its characters, and Yuuki Konno adds a lot to this stellar series.
1. Eleonora Viltaria from Lord Marksman and Vanadis (Madan no Ou to Vanadis)
Okay, so everyone has their own definition of cute. While lady Eleonora might not scream Kawaii, right away, but she merges being an action-hero all while the same time being completely adorable.
Eleonora can fight with the best of them, and is a brilliant strategist. Adding on to this, she has some magical powers to boot, being able to turn the win into a weapon, and also wields some magical weaponry as well! Eleonora is so cute because, despite commanding armies into battle, she always has a cheerful, joyous nature and has a character that just touches on Tsundere, She fights for all the right reasons, and generally want’s to pursue good in the world.
There were so many great and adorable female characters this season so it was definitely tough to pick only 5!
Do you think there’s anyone we should have placed on our list?
