6 Reasons to Watch Death Note: Light Up The NEW World
1. It was filmed on a never-before-seen scale!
Nothing less than excellent was used for this film. With shooting locations in Tokyo, Kobe, and even Russia, along with customized costumes and incredibly detailed props as well as state-of-the-art CG, a new Death Note world was created.
2. The three-way conflict and fight on justice and over the Death Notes!
The three main characters (image below), Ryuuzaki (left), Mishima (middle), and Shion (right) each have their own sense of justice. Each of them want the Death Note to fulfill their goal. Who will win in the end?
3. More props! It's not just the Death Note!
Of course, there's Ryuk's favorite apple and Arma's favorite muscat grapes. There are more unique props in the film and they are also more detailed! Watch out for them!
4. Fans of the previous films can see their favorite characters make a comeback!
The actors featured in the previous films will be shown in the new movie as well! There's the main character Light Yagami (Tatsuya Fujiwara) who will make a cameo appearance. L (Kenichi Matsuyama), Misa Amane (Erika Toda), Ryuk (Nakamura Shidou), and Touta Matsuda (Sota Aoyama) will also appear in the newest film along with the new cast members!
5. Appearance of other Shinigami!
We all the Ryuk of the original death note series, but now that there are six Death Notes, more Shinigami will appear! What form would they take? We can't wait to find out!
6. The last film?! Fans will accept this "new world!"
The characters fight for their lives in this film. A lot of questions will be answered - Kira's presence, the future of the characters, the Death Notes' whereabouts. The last film's unexpected impact will surely leave the audience satisfied.
