- Kyoto Animation's announced August 12th that a new season of Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid titled "Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon S" will release in 2021 and, of course, will be handled by Kyoto Animation again.
- A new teaser visual was also revealed, featuring Dragon girl Tooru, Kanna, Elma, and Lukoa forming the "S" in the anime's title. According to official statements, the "S" stands for "Supreme", "Second life", "Start".
