This is an original anime that is set in an alternate universe. Part of Tokyo has sunk into the Earth. The Special Public Security Fifth Division Third Mobile Assault Eighth Unit, nicknamed ‘the eighth,’ fight crime. However they fight crime while wearing large armored suits called ‘Willware.’

Asami Kazari

Voice Actor: Ari Ozawa

Asami was given an exception to become a special investigator from a young age due to her being a genius. Concealing this identity within herself, she is assigned to the eighth. Her Willware is one of the newest multipurpose units to be developed; the Fine Familiar. She takes great pride in herself and is somewhat demanding and aloof with a short temper and one dimensional.

Takeru Kuroki

Voice Actor: Nobunaga Shimazaki

Takeru was born and raised in Tokyo and he is a special investigator just like Asami and holds a black belt in Karate. His Willware specializes in close combat and is the Strike Interceptor. He is neither good nor evil but does things at his own pace. He can be a bit careless and he isn’t exactly the most delicate, but he doesn’t sweat the small things.

Haruka Hoshimiya

Voice Actor: Shizuka Ishigami

Haruka is a police sergeant and normally is an operator. However, she wears a Willware that is equipped to multitask specializing in processing information and she has been known to appear on crime scenes herself. She like both science and medicine and is obsessed with anything that has to do with moving vehicles. Buses, Trains, Cars, you name it, she knows about it.

Souichirou Sena

Voice Actor: Takahiro Sakurai

Souichirou Sena – Sena was born and raised in Yokohama City in Kanagawa Prefecture. He is a special investigator as well. He is obsessed with following the rules to the point that he meticulously separates all of his garbage. He balances out his coworker Takeru. The Willware he wears specializes in sniping and long distance fighting. It’s called the Elf-Σ (Sigma)

Rin Yamabuki

Voice Actor: Masayo Kurata

Rin is the leader of the eighth. She is the senior superintendent. Although she looks small, her personality is anything but and she is quite intelligent and well-spoken. Rin’s sense of justice and empathy enable her to keep cool-headed to get things done. On the other hand, she’s a slob in her personal life and she relies on her sister that she lives with to take care of household chores.

Mythos

Voice Actor: Natsuki Hanae

Mythos is the pretty boy of this show; pretty bad that is! He lives in a high-rise apartment mysteriously surrounded by monitors, cheap candy, and women. He runs the criminal network Logos and he creates chaos within Tokyo.

Tomoki Hachijou

Voice Actor: Taishi Murata

Tomoki is the Student Council President of his school. With Hinata at his side, he spends his time writing graduate level essays after school.

Hinata Yamabuki

Voice Actor: Yuka Aisaka

Hinata is the sister of Rin. She is considerably younger than Rin. Save for some of her physical features, she is exactly like Rin. She also goes to the same school as Tomoki and works on the student council.
