What You Need to Know:
- There are a lot of pretty wicked villains in the anime world but none do it as well as Aizen Sousuke from the popular Shounen manga Bleach. For those who grew up with the beloved series created by Tite Kubo, many will agree that Aizen was ruthless in his ways, even going so far as to pretending to be the good guy for a great portion of the show. His sly and clever ways allowed him to snake his way through the soul society to eventually become the leader of his own army, and pretty much terrorize the entire soul society as well as Earth. His soft spoken and very intellectual behavior gives off a very strong impression and very rarely panics when there's a great threat around him.
- Before becoming the leader of the Arrancar Army and framing Urahara for the hollowfication process, he was the former Captain of the 5th Division and was seen as a great leader among his peers. He was seen as very caring and highly respected, especially to his lieutenant Momo Hinamori. Once all hell broke loose however, that's when we got to see Aizen-sama in his true form, taking out any opposing threat so that he can ascend the throne, overthrow the Soul King and become the god of the world.
- While he's certainly a pretty sinister character in the later half of the series, I actually liked his character a lot and found him to be very insightful in a lot of ways. If you haven't watched Bleach then now's a great time since we're all at home anyway. For now, let's celebrate this bad boy's birthday!
Surprisingly I really like his evil side more than his gentle side.
Tite did a great job of creating such a bold and clever character like Aizen-sama. I love him in spite of his bad ways.
