What You Need to Know:
- At the time of this update, with only 20 hours to go, ARIA the Animation’s Kickstarter to be dubbed by Nozomi Entertainment has hit over $543,000. This means that the entire series from the first season to the final OVAs will be dubbed and released by them.
- Initially, the goal was to raise $110,000 to dub the first season, but that goal was met within a week of launch. They then added a stretch goal for $180,000 to dub the second season. When that was hit, they kept adding stretch goals and now, they have passed well-beyond their final stretch goal of $370,000 to debut the entire series. This includes ARIA the Avvenire OVA which has never seen a release outside of Japan.
- Nozomi Entertainment has already confirmed that the dubbing will take place in New York and will feature voice actresses Michele Knotz, Jessica Cavello, Lisa Ortiz, and Veronica Taylor. IF you are still waiting to get in on it, now is the time as there are less than 20 hours till the kickstarter closes!
