However, in response to the enthusiastic response from participants, Kodansha has decided to significantly extend the event’s duration.
- The Worldwide After Party was originally scheduled to run from November 5 to 8, with the content remaining available from November 9 to 20. However, all the content will now be accessible until the end of November. This extended event, titled the Anime Finale Commemoration “Attack on Titan” Worldwide After Party Month, will address feedback such as “There’s too much content to finish” and “I’d like to savor the content at a more leisurely pace” by allowing fans from all over the world to enjoy it at any time up until the end of November.
What is the Anime Finale Commemoration “Attack on Titan” Worldwide After Party?
The TV anime Attack on Titan concluded successfully with the end of the final season on November 4, marking the end of a journey that began in 2013.
The first of its kind in anime history, this event invited fans who have supported Attack on Titan to celebrate the series’ conclusion alongside the production team and cast on an online cruise ship. Right after the final episode’s broadcast, approximately 3,000 real-time participants joined the opening party, generating around 30,000 comments. On the second day, messages to the characters reached approximately 24,000 in total. The event has been immensely popular, and the number of participants has steadily increased.
