Discussion Time
Tomura, you are indeed one psychotic leader. Chapter 224 of Boku no Hero Academia starts off rather quickly with the league contemplating what actions to make. Despite the obvious trap they face if they go towards the meeting point, Tomura and the team decide to have the doctor—who was creepily listening in—teleport them there. However, Tomura makes a bold decision to have Gigantomachia help them despite him currently resting. His ultimate play is that if you add the meta army to the mix, then Tomura will be able to overthrow Gigantomachia and finally best the behemoth. Despite Dabi, Twice, Spinner and Himiko’s hesitance, the doctor teleports them where they immediately run into a hero—Slidin Go—which suggest that they also have heroes in their team. Slidin Go leads the villains to the destination and things quickly ramp up when several Meta Army warriors appear. Himiko already seems to be targeted by one member—Chitose Kizuki—and probably will have a big battle with her sooner than we think! Chapter 224 of Boku no Hero Academia was a quick one this week, but it went right into the fray setting up for a possible battle between the League of Villains and the Meta Liberation Army! Why don’t we discuss some of the better elements to this week’s chapter as we didn’t find this week’s episode to have any major faults worth skipping it over.
1. A Pro Hero!?
Last chapter, we discovered that the Meta Liberation Army had some deep claws in the world’s infrastructure. Many of the members are on top of big organizations making the army a pretty fearful beast. However, with the appearance of Slidin Go—a Pro Hero—the realization their influence is deep indeed comes to light. One can only wonder who else the Meta Liberation Army has in their power that could possibly be a threat to both the League of Villains and the Pro Heroes.
2. Another Tomura Plan?
Let’s face the reality readers, Tomura’s plans have been…weak at best. Most of his plans in the series have led to utter failure and with Gigantomachia beating him silly, you wonder if this new plan is going to play out the way he thinks it will. While Gigantomachia might have his eyes set for Tomura, will he really fight other people with his target being the leader? In our minds, this could happen, but it equally could just be another Tomura plan set to fail…
