Well then, our villains truly are getting their challenges thanks to this Meta Liberation Army, aren’t they? In chapter 228 of Boku no Hero Academia, Dabi begins his battle with the ice using Meta and quickly learns this dude is no push over as he predicted. While ice should be easily melted by Dabi’s intense flames, our little artic meta seems armed with an ace up his sleeve in the form of his ability to control all ice and not just create his own. While Dabi sees his power go nowhere, Twice finds an unconscious—and possibly dying—Toga and nearly loses it. As we learn, Twice owes Toga for bringing him into the League of Villains and it makes him want to save her at all costs. However, Twice is quickly assaulted—mentally and physically—by several clones of himself that were made using a Meta ability called Anthropomorph. Apparently, Twice is to be taken in by the army so they can harness his Quirk and use it as a means of keeping Re Destro alive if things go south. The chapter abruptly ends with Twice being bombarded by his own clones—kind of creepy to be honest—and we’re left wondering what his next move will be! Overall, as short as chapter 228 was, it left us wanting more and that is what this series does best. Only positive things to say for us for this week’s chapter of Boku no Hero Academia!
1. Dabi’s Fire Ineffective!
We’ve always seen Dabi as one of the strongest villains from the league due to his intense fire from his Quirk Cremation, but with this new Meta, we might see his skills go all out! We can predict that Dabi will face a challenger he wasn’t truly prepared for, but we have faith our baddie isn’t going to let his blue flames die out without a true fight!
2. Twice in Danger?
Twice often comes out as a weird—and comedic—villain on par with Deadpool but without the skills. Yet, to see him in dire straights like he’s dealing with in chapter 228 of Boku no Hero Academia is actually kind of tough to take in. How can he use his quirk to escape the onslaught of clones going after him when we know full well, he’s already paranoid that he’s not the original? We don’t have an answer for this one, folks, but if you do, comment below with some theories!
Final Thoughts
Boku no Hero Academia chapter 228 was over quickly, but it burned brightly like the sun! Dabi is in for a fight and Twice is struggling with one of his greatest fears coming seemingly to fruition!
