Boku no Hero Academia chapter 240 doesn’t waste time bringing us back from the epic fight we had and into the present. Relaxing and acting as if nothing happened, The League of Villains are enjoying some much-needed rest and relaxation. Plus, Toga is also alive and just a bit banged up. Outside of those resting, Re-Destro and Tomura go in front of the newly merged groups to announce Tomura is the Grand Leader and the army has a new name, The Paranormal Liberation Front! Meanwhile. Hawks—our internal spy—knows time is less on his side than before. If Hawks doesn’t hurry and let the heroes know what’s going on, their strength will become absolute and it won’t be long before Re-Destro and Tomura control large amounts of power! The chapter wraps up with Tomura meeting with the doctor wanting to get what he was promised for getting Gigantomachia on his side and showing he was worthy of his help. Of course, the doctor has one more errand for our top dog villain, but what this could be, we will have to wait to find out. Overall, chapter 240 was pretty simple this week but helped show the birth of a new army. Let’s discuss some chapter highlights further down below!

1. A New Army!?

Re-Destro wasn’t kidding when he bowed to Tomura! Not only does he continue to act like an underling but now he’s given Tomura—and his fellow League of Villains members—titles in the new army The Paranormal Liberation Front. The League of Villains was powerful to begin with but now they truly might be a force to be reckoned with. Our heroes are in for a showdown soon if they don’t stop this front from rising!

2. Hawks Needs to Hurry!!!

Hawks has kept his spy moniker hiding in the shadows, but he hasn’t realized that time isn’t on his side. Now with a bigger army and more power, Hawks needs to let the heroes know what’s going down before they unleash into the world. Hawks better make some moves…soon.

Final Thoughts

Our 240th chapter of Boku no Hero Academia set up something grand. With a new army that triples the size of the Meta Liberation Army and The League of Villains, this powerhouse of a group might truly destroy the world if left unchecked! Heroes need to rise soon otherwise Tomura might get what he wishes to destroy the world and bring decay to all! While we wait for chapter 241 what are your thoughts on chapter 240?
