What You Need to Know:
- At a recent event in Tokyo promoting the new Boruto: Naruto the Movie, Naruto creator, Masashi Kishimoto was on hand to interact with the audience.
- When Yuuko Sanpei (voice of Boruto) mentioned that she "wants to see the continuation of the Boruto movie," Kishimoto responded by saying that would not be happening, if he can help it.
- This marks the 15th year since Naruto started serialization in Shounen Jump. Kishimoto is now looking forward to some much needed time off - surely to the disappointment of many fans.
Sanpei: "I really want to see what comes after the movie!"
Kishimoto: (with a strained laugh) "I can't do that. Please let me rest."
Kishimoto: "I finally went on my honeymoon a little while back. Even though my son's already as big as Boruto."
Kishimoto: (about the movie) "I think it's perfect. I may be biased, but I couldn't be more satisfied."

"It's not like he's a company employee. Can't the guy just rest?"
"He's in a world where you get exploited until you get sick. It's scary."
"Amazing! Just amazing! If it were me, I'd want to retire as soon as possible! haha"
"Well, the anime's already only half-original content, so they should be able to continue it despite this."
I feel sorry for Mr. Kishimoto! He should just have a break already!
I'm sure he can retire comfortably with how popular Naruto ended up being.
