What You Need to Know:
- Today, the 4th group of participating composers was announced for the exciting CAROLE & TUESDAY anime. Group four adds Japanese artists Cero, D.A.N., and taro umebayashi as well as overseas artists Alison Wonderland, Mark Redito, Madison McFerrin, and Taylor McFerrin for an amazing lineup that will have music fans buzzing with excitement! In conjunction with this announcement, a second participating composer introduction video has been released.
- Vocal Collection Vol. 1, a collection of songs from CAROLE & TUESDAY, will be going on sale on July 10th. This album will contain approx. 20 songs from the first cour (12 episodes) of the two cour anime. In addition to the protagonists Carole & Tuesday, it will also feature songs sung by other characters such as Angela, Skip, Crystal, and Ertegun. These songs were written and composed by our team of highly acclaimed artists, including Flying Lotus, Thundercat, Benny Sings, Lido, and ☆Taku Takahashi (m-flo). Please look forward to an extraordinary album with a level of quality that rivals the anime.
- Finally, on May 1 (Wed), a program titled “CAROLE & TUESDAY Golden Week Special” will be broadcast on LINE LIVE from 21:00. This will include a director’s cut version of the behind-the-seasons documentary Story of a Miracle Vol. 1-3. Scenes from recording sessions with global singers audition winners Nai Br.XX, Celeina Ann, and Alisa and the full version of the “Kiss Me” music video will also be released. Alison Wonderland
Alison Wonderland architects a world of her own design as its chief author, creator, and voice. The Sydney-born and Los Angeles-based singer, producer, songwriter, and DJ realizes this vision at the intersection of future-facing pop, explosive beat-craft, and eternal dance rhythms.
Since emerging in 2009, her sound inched towards mainstream ubiquity as the sonic sorceress received the “Highest Female DJ Billing Ever at Coachella,” captured #1 on the Billboard Top Dance/Electronic Albums Chart twice consecutively with Run [2015] and Awake [2018], headlined sold out arenas around the globe, and clocked upwards of 100 million streams by 2018. Not to mention, ELLE proclaimed her one of its “Women On The Verge,” and she garnered features from FADER, Glamour, Seventeen, Interview, Wonderland, Chicago Tribune, and Du Jour. Simultaneously, Alison’s Radio Wonderland show clocked 5 million-plus iTunes downloads, broadcasting to over 20 countries and featuring on the SiriusXM channel Diplo’s Revolution.
Emerging in 2009 with regular night club sets around Australia and a series of remixes for everyone from Little Dragon to Justin Bieber, she ignited an international splash in 2015 with the full-length debut, Run. Not only did it reach gold status down under, but it earned a pair of nominations at the ARIA Awards. Arriving with a bang, she made her live introduction stateside at Coachella. Mark Redito Profile
Breaking out with his debut album “Desire” in 2013, Mark Redito is a Los Angeles based electronic music producer that has released multiple singles, EPs and have collaborated with artists that is varied as Kero Kero Bonito to Willow Smith. Following his passion for inclusion and compassion for the underrepresented, he founded Likido, a concert series that places spotlights on people of color, women and LGBTQ producers.
Armed now with his new album Neutropical, Redito returns with a collection of songs that fuses Tropical Futurism with signature Mark Redito sound; pure passion that is both deeply rooted in heritage and still forward looking, rhythmically jovial but lyrically vulnerable, and always a head bobbing and ass shaking fun for everyone, no matter who you are, or where you’re from.
Taylor McFerrin Profile
Taylor McFerrin is the somewhat elusive Multi-instrumentalist Producer responsible for the 2007 Cult Classic "Broken Vibes EP" and the 2014 Brainfeeder Released LP "Early Riser". His music is known for pushing the boundaries of Soul, Electronic and Hip-Hop production using his unique of collection of Vintage Synths, Drums Machines and Psychedelic Effects. After Collaborating with and producing for Artists such as Hiatus Kaiyote, Emily King, Jose James, Thundercat, Robert Glasper and Anderson .Paak, In 2019 he looks to expand his range as he takes on the lead vocalist roll for his upcoming Self Released Full Length Album titled "Love's Last Chance". He is also handling the production duties on his sister Madison McFerrin's upcoming EP, which comes on the heels of the tracks the Brother/Sister Duo created for Carole and Tuesday.
Madison McFerrin Profile
Madison McFerrin is a singer-songwriter based in Brooklyn, NY. In December 2016, her solo debut EP, Finding Foundations: Vol. I, introduced her soulful take on a cappella to the world. Critics and crowds quickly took note. Leading up to her sold out show at Joe’s Pub, the New York Times remarked how her sound “shows wonderful vocal dexterity, deftly swerving from sharp, clearly enunciated staccato bursts to fluttery, free-form melismata.” After one listen, tastemaking DJ, Gilles Peterson, snatched up her standout track, “No Time to Lose,” for his Brownswood Bubblers compilation. She followed that up with this February’s release of Finding Foundations: Vol. II, which gave her listeners more of what they love and earned her more critical praise. Most noteworthy is a Pitchfork Rising Artist profile that highlighted how her style offers an “understated, compelling testament to the power and dexterity of the human voice.” On the heels of her debut European tour that featured sold out shows in London and Barcelona, Madison eagerly anticipates sharing new music in 2019.
D. A. N. Profile
D.A.N. were formed in the summer of 2014 in Tokyo. Their unique and thoroughly modern sound, sitting somewhere between the minimal alt-pop of The xx and the live dance music dynamic of Caribou has won them fans throughout their home country, and an offer to appear at the prestigious Fuji Rock Festival in 2016 & 2018 has been swiftly followed by the band opening for international artists including The xx and James Blake and Floating Points in Japan. The band's self-organized event, "Timeless”, has seen them invite and play alongside acts such as Mndsgn (LA) and Jamie Isaac (UK) in Tokyo, whilst in late 2017 D.A.N. took off to London, where they spent some time recording with Floating Points at his personal studio, appeared on Giles Peterson’s Worldwide Radio and performed at the legendary Hackney hipster haunt The Shacklewell Arms. In May 2018, they appeared at The Great Escape in Brighton, UK, winning enthusiastic new fans from around the world. The band’s latest full length album "Sonatine” was released in July 2018, followed by an Asian tour through China, Taiwan, Bangkok and an appearance at Hong Kong “Clockenflap” festival. With influences ranging from underground house and techno through to psychedelic and African music, the three piece are equally at home in the club as they are on a festival stage, and are being widely touted as the most exciting prospect to emerge from the Tokyo scene in many years.

2012: Going by the artist name “milk”, he released his first album, greeting for the sleeping seeds, under the Rallye Label. This album featured various guest artists including Seltmann (composer of Feist’s "1,2,3,4"), Au Revoir Simone, Alexander von Mehren, and Jesse Kivel (Kisses).
2014: Composed and arranged music for Shinichiro Watanabe’s anime “Space Dandy”.
2015: Participated in Alma Music Box—an album with songs provided by artists such as Steve Jansen and Christian Fennesz—together with Silla (formerly of múm).
2016: Composed and arranged music for the TV anime “Yuri on Ice”.
2017: Created music for the Enoshima Aquarium Special Program “Night Wonder Aquarium” with Arnór Dan, Ólöf Arnalds, and Julia Shortreed.
2018: Composed and arranged background music for the movie “It Comes” by Tetsuya Nakashima. Participated in Paris Tokyo Single club Vol. 1, a collaborative record between Japan and France.
Active in a wide range of genres, including production work, music provision, music for movies, music for anime, and music for commercials.
Cero Profile
Cero is an Japanese band based in Tokyo, formed in 2004. The band consists of Shohei Takagi (vo., fl. g), Yu Arauchi, (kb) Tsubasa Hashimoto (g, cho). They have released four albums and three singles, three DVDs from Kakubarhythm. Each of them writes songs of cero as well as arranging and producing their songs. They perform live shows and command recording their songs with support members. Their songs, albums, shows are always attractive and tells deep and spreading stories about cities and life by music.
