What You Need to Know:
- On the upcoming episode 8 of CAROLE & TUESDAY, which will air tonight on Fuji TV’s +Ultra timeslot, the reality TV singing competition Mars’ Brightest will finally begin, with Carole, Tuesday, Angela, and other artists battling it out with their debuts on the line! Episode 8 will feature Katy Kimura (CV: Nao Toyama), Angela’s new manager, Cybelle (CV: Ayane Sakura), a fellow Mars’ Brightest contestant and Tuesday’s biggest fan, the Mermaid Sisters (CV: Shintaro Asanuma), a chorus group that sings in perfect harmony, and more!
- Additionally, Pyotr (CV: Shouta Aoi / Vo: J R Price), who was introduced in episode 7, will be performing a new song titled “Dance Tonight” by singer/song-beat maker/DJ G.RINA, and Carole & Tuesday will be performing a new song titled “Whispering My Love” by Seattle-born singer/songwriter Jen Wood. These songs will go on sale on July 10 as part of Vocal Collection Vol. 1, together with other tracks such as Ertegun’s (CV: Mamoru Miyano) “Who am I the Greatest” by ☆Taku Takahashi (m-flo) and Skip’s (CV: Hiroki Yasumoto / Vo: Thundercat) “unrequited love” by Flying Lotus and Thundercat.
- From May 29 (Wed) to June 4 (Tues), we will be running the third round of our Twitter campaign. Two lucky winners who follow and retweet the official CAROLE & TUESDAY Twitter account will receive a poster autographed by either Nao Toyama, who is playing Katy Kimura, or Shouta Aoi, who is playing Pyotr.
