What You Need to Know:
- Earlier today, Crunchyroll announced that Setsuo Ito (voice actor of Mob), Yuzuru Tachikawa (director), and Yoshimichi Kameda (character designer) of “Mob Psycho 100” will be headed to Crunchyroll Expo 2019, our flagship anime convention.
- Director, Yuzuru Tachikawa has been working on “Mob Psycho 100” since 2016 and has also directed various projects such as “Death Parade” and “Detective Conan: Zero the Enforcer.”
- Yoshimichi Kameda has worked on “One Punch Man,” “Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood,” and “Mob Psycho 100” as both a character designer and animator.
- Setsuo Ito’s voice credits include Kageyama Shigeo, aka Mob in “Mob Psycho 100,” Kai Musashisakai in “Anime-Gatari” and Kenichi Iwami in “Captain Tsubasa.”
- The third annual Crunchyroll Expo will be held at the San Jose Convention Center from August 31 to September 1, 2019. The theme this year is New Crunchy City, an immersive take on an anime convention, meant to transport fans into a bustling anime metropolis where their favorite series comes to life.
- Crunchyroll Expo brings anime fans together for three days of exhibits, screenings, panels, and guest appearances by some of the biggest personalities in the US and Japan. It's a showcase of the best of what Japanese animation and pop culture has to offer – as well as unique elements, events, and experiences never seen before at an anime con.
