What You Need to Know:
- Crucnhyroll shared a trailer for WAVE!! -LET’S GO SURFING!!- a three-part movie series that released in Japan in October 2020. The movie series still doesn't have an airing date but was announced with Cruncyroll's Winter 2021 Lineup.
- Story: Masaki, who was born and raised in Ibaraki Prefecture near the Ōarai Coast, meets a prince-like transfer student named Sho. Sho introduces him to surfing -- the ultimate sport where you use nothing but a board to face off against the mighty waves of the ocean. Thus begins a never-ending story of a group of boys hooked on surfing. Only on the water can they be truly free!
- The movies will be broadcast on TV in Japan this Winter 2021 and so, we'll get to watch them on Cruncyroll in the West. Check out the trailer below!
