What You Need to Know:
- It's been a while since we have seen anything new from the Death Note series! Last year we had a new drama produced and this year hulu is working on a new three part series entitiled "Death note: NEW GENERATION".
- However, ahead of the drama's September 16th debut, we are also looking at now the first real PV for "Death note: Light up the NEW world" set to debut in theaters October 29th!
- Ominous and telling, it opens up with flashes and cuts from the movie and a recap of what the death note does. It teases us by having Ryuk say "Can't you show me something more interesting?" Death note: Light up the NEW world follows three men each with different missions. One wants to seal the Death notes forever, one wants to become the next L and succeed his legacy, and the final wants to revive Kira. Check out the PV below and get excited!

For a live action, this actually looks really good and I think that the story would be really interesting. It feels like a spy novel even though it's not. It looks like it is going to be dripping in suspense.
I agree! This certainly looks like something that would be more interesting than what they had previously produced. Let's hope that this does not disappoint.
