Synopsis
The story is set in 2010, more than 10 years has passed since Taichi and Agumon met and had an adventure in the digital world.
"Children who are chosen" around the world gradually get recognized by the society, and daily scenes with Digimon are becoming quite common.
Taichi becomes a college student, while Yamato and others have made decisions on what kind of life they want to have.
On the other hand, an incident begins to occur around "children who are chosen" around the world.
Menoa and Imura, the Digimon researchers who appear in front of Taichi and his friends, states that a digimon called "Eosmon" is the cause of the incident, and seek for help.
Taichi and the other chosen children gather once again to solve the case. But something strange happens during the "evolutions" of Agumon and other Digimon changes during the battle with Eosmon. Menoa reveals a shocking truth to Taichi and his friends.
When chosen children become adults, theirs partner Digimon disappear...
The threat of Eosmon gradually affects Taichi's friends.

Taichi Yagami: Natsuki Hanae
He is a 4th year student in the political economy department. He decides to become independent when he entered college, and he lives by himself. He works passionately both in academics and part-time jobs, but he hasn't decided on what career he wants to have. He is still willingly helping anyone who has Digimon-related troubles.
Agumon: Chinatsu Sakamoto
Taichi's partner digimon. He does things in his own way, but in case of emergency, he faces the danger, even risking his safety for others.
Yamato Ishida: Yoshimasa Hosoya
He is a 4th year student of the faculty of science and technology. He is taking a break from his band activity, enjoying music only as his hobby, and he is enjoying riding his motorcycle for now. He decides to enter graduate school to obtain time and to research his true self.
Gabumon: Mayumi Yamaguchi
Yamato's partner digimon. He is a reptile-type Digimon similar to Agumon.
Sora Takenouchi: Suzuko Mimori
She is 4th year student at the girls' college. She decides to have a career as "Hanamichi" (a Japanese stage actor) as her mother does.
Biyomon: Atori Shigematsu
Sora's partner Digimon. It is a nestling-bird type Digimon with the wings evolved into arms.
Koshiro Izumi: Mutsumi Tamura
He owns a company although he is a college student, and he uses revenue from his business to make himself as a hub between the digital world and human world, helping people in trouble with Digimons.
Tentomon: Takahiro Sakurai
Koshiro's partner Digimon. It is insect-type igimon with a hard shell and 6 arms and legs.
Menoa Bellucc: Mayu Matsuoka
A scientist who works at the university in New York. She is a genius who entered the prestigious university when she was 14. She came to Japan to seek for help to Taichi and his friends after getting their contacts through the community that Koshiro is running. She comments on the relationship between humans and Digimon that no one knows. The way she talks is unique because she mixes Japanese and English.
Kyotaro Imura: Daisuke Ono
He is the assistant of Menoa, and comes to Japan with Menoa. He is a tall man who states things with no hesitation, sometimes create a feeling of oppression.
