What You Need to Know:
- A lot of people by now are likely to know that Japan really loves itself, and oftentimes so much that it tends to forget that other countrries exist. This is quite apparent in the gaming world where for decades, the beautiful land of the rising sun always seem to release some pretty cool titles, but only exclusively to domestic fans. One interesting announcement this past weekend came from Capcom, a company that usually spreads its wings to the global audience, in that they'll be releasing a brand new Mega Man VR arcade title but only...you guessed it, in Japan.
- The title has been confirmed as Rockman VR Nerawareta Virtual World!! (Mega Man VR: Aimed at the Virtual World!!), and will see its debut at Plaza CAPCOM in Q Plaza Ikebukuro in Tokyo on July 18th. The game will likely place much of its attention to the Mega Max 11 universe and Capcom states that this is the first ever Mega Man VR experience. Sounds pretty cool if you ask us!
- The synopsis of the story places attention on Dr. Wily plots to conquer the peaceful VR world through hacking. Mega Man uses Dr. Light's VR goggles to travese into depths of the VR world and put an immediate end to Dr. Wily's long term vision. Well, guess it's time to head up to Ikebukuro in a couple weeks!
WHAAA?! This sounds so freaking cool!
I'm totally going to try this out!
