What You Need to Know:
- Literally breaking news just exploded from Twitter, as the latest movie for the Fate/stay night series, Fate stay/night Heaven's Feel III spring song, has been postponed until April 28th. The movie, which was scheduled to hit theaters here in Japan 3/28, was highly anticipated by fans across the country and even we were planning to go and see it for ourselves.
- However it seems that safety is much more imperative than watching the movie live, as the Coronavirus issue continues to proliferate at a rapid pace, and doesn't seem to be slowing down any time soon. As you can see from the tweet above, it's very clear that the team is disappointed but also precautions must be made in order to prevent anything from happening.
- The tweet also goes on to say that those who purchased their tickets will be able to receive refunds. This announcement was made in light of the recent closure of major theaters in Japan, in order to help decrease the risk of spreading the Coronavirus to more people. While we're certainly disheartened by the matter we do agree that this step was the best one, and we can only hope that things will dissipate by next month.
- The second tweet is informing fans that the special commemorative event planned for March 28th has also been postponed. The official website provides details, should you happen to be more curious (JPN only), but the point has been made very clearly.
Dammit! I really am starting to grow frustrated with this Coronavirus BS...
It really is annoying but hey, what can we do right?
