About Gachiakuta
In the impoverished outskirts of a prosperous town, Rudo and his foster father, Legto, strive to coexist with the town's privileged residents, though Rudo deeply resents their wastefulness. Defying constant warnings, Rudo often scavenges through the town's refuse, seeking anything of value to rescue from the "Abyss"—a vast pit where unwanted items and even people are discarded. Rudo's biological father, wrongfully accused of murder, was one such victim cast into the Abyss. One ominous day, after an unsettling encounter on his way home, Rudo finds Legto mortally wounded. The authorities promptly arrive, accuse Rudo of the crime, and condemn him to the Abyss. Instead of meeting his end, Rudo lands in a bizarre, malodorous realm teeming with monstrous trash creatures. Attacked by these beings, Rudo is rescued by Enjin, a "janitor" who wields unique weapons called "jinkis" to battle the monsters. Fueled by a desire for vengeance and justice, Rudo reluctantly joins Enjin, determined to fight his way back to the surface and avenge Legto's death.
