What You Need to Know:
- It was announced that "Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045" is getting a movie adaptation in 2021. This movie will add new scenes to the 1st season and restructure it.
- The director Kenji Kamiyama revealed that the staff who will be in charge of the adaptation will be different from the TV version though he has never failed to reedit his own works. He explained: "I want to know how other people interpret the story of "Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045"".
- "Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045" has been exclusively airing in Netflix since April 2020. The series was produced by directors Kenji Kamiyama, who directed "Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex", and Shinji Aramaki, who directed "APPLESEED", and is characterized by its realistic 3DCG.
