Yuu Arimura: Shougo Yano
15 years old. Born in Tokyo. Center of the famous idol group Mr. Doctor. He has been active in the entertainment industry since he was a child. However, he was so moved by a race that he saw while visiting a racecourse during work that he decided to take the entrance exams to join Keiba School. His artist name is Yuu Otonashi.
Shun Kazanami: Tsuchiya Shiba
15 years old. Born in the Izu Islands. He grew up surrounded by nature, without a TV, but he often listened to horse racing broadcasts on the radio. Although he had no riding experience prior to entering the school, he is naturally gifted. He is a carefree goofball.
Amane Grace: Natsuki Hanae
15 years old. Born in England. His father is English, his mother Japanese. His father was formerly a jockey and is now a well-known owner and breeder of horses. Growing up in a wealthy family, he attended several racing schools before moving to Japan.
Aki Kyouriki: Yojiro Itokawa
15 years old. Born in Gifu prefecture. His father is a local horse racing jockey. Entered the horse racing school to become a leading jockey in the Central Horse Racing. He hates to lose, and his hobby is to listen to music.
Soujirou Sakuraba: Tatsumaru Tachibana
15 years old. Born in Shiga prefecture. His parents' house is the prestigious "Sakuraba Stables" in Ritto, and his father is a former jockey trainer. His eldest brother is a stable boy, and his second brother is a jockey. He entered the horse racing school as if that's a natural thing to do. He is positive and confident.
Eri Shimotsuki: Inori Minase
15 years old. Born in Kyoto prefecture. Entered the horse racing school hoping to play an active part as a jockey and earn prizes. Although her parents used to run a thoroughbred farm, it is out of business now. Her parents currently run a restaurant in Kyoto. She is very grown-up for her age.
Maki Sakai: Chiaki Kobayashi
Sakai is a 15-year-old from Fukushima prefecture, who was taken to the racetrack by his grandfather at an early age, became a horse racing enthusiast—and his enthusiasm hit the gates of the horse racing school. A bright and solid hard worker, he is a data-type horse racing nerd who remembers all the results of major races in the past.
