Shingo Ichimiya is working a regular job when he opens his eyes after sleeping throughout the night, and is now the eighth son of some poor nobles. He has no right to inherit the home nor land, and he knows nothing of the internal politics that plague his family. The one thing he does have goes for him though, is that he is a magical prodigy. He then sets off on a journey to become a powerful mage and make money through his magical talents. Of course though, he has zero plans to set off and save the world or anything like that.
