What You Need to Know:
- In case you caught our last annoucement, Japanese publishing giant Shogakukan announced that there would be a crowdfunding campaign set up this month in order to fund an anime adaptation of Imomushi Narita's fantasy manga IT'S MY LIFE. It officially went live on Sunday.
- The campaign aims to raise 5 million yen (~46,000 USD, 37,050 EUR) to make a short, 3 minute video plus the ending. Anime is expensive! They have many tiers that start at 5000 yen (~46USD, 37.50 EUR), and there are stretch goals as well hoping that they will reach upwards of 15 million yen (~138,000 USD, 111150 EUR). Since going online, the campaign has already raised 1.816 million yen with the help of 151 people. With 88 days left, considering how popular crowdfunding anime is, there is a good chance that they will go well beyond their initial goal.
- IT'S MY LIFE the story of Astra, a knight who has retired to his home, but when he does, a young eight-year-old witch named Noa comes into his life and makes him take her on as a servant. The manga series has 9 bound volumes in print and began to be published in December of 2014. Could we see this get turned into a full tv anime? Who knows! But if it does well, then there is a good chance that it could help it! Interested in donating? Find out more at the source link below!
