What You Need to Know:
- After a 5 year run, as well as winning the Shoujo award at the 40th Kodansha Manga Awards and receiving a popular anime adaptation, Junko's Watamote (Watashi ga motete Dousunda) has announced that the series is ending and the final volume will go on sale in just over a month on March 13th.
- The series has 13 bound volumes in print and the finale will be the 14th. It originally began publication in May of 2013 before going on to claim the 40th Kodasha Manga Award in 2016.
- The series is about Kae Serinuma, a fujoshi who loves watching boys getting on well together and letting her imagination run wild! One day, her beloved anime character dies, and from the sheer shock she loses a lot of weight. All of a sudden, she’s being invited on dates by four gorgeous guys from school! Even though she’s not interested!! What’s she supposed to do with her sudden popularity when she wants them to kiss each other, not her?!
This was such a good series. I really liked it.
I cannot believe this is ending though. I really want to see what Junko does next!
