Synopsis

In Ijitsu, the world is an endless expanse of wasteland.
One day, a hole opens up in the sky and all kinds of things start coming out of it.
Among those things was the Yufang, a mysterious group of people. The things they brought with them had an immense impact on the world of Ijitsu; especially the aircrafts, which forever changed their way of life. From then on, everyone took to the skies.

As time went on, merchant zeppelins carrying goods, fighter pilots hired as bodyguards, sky pirates and more could be seen flying about. The Ouni Company hires a group of fighter pilots called the Kotobuki Squadron, which is made up of six remarkable female pilots who simply love flying. In order to protect their clients’ precious cargo, the girls hop in their Hayabusa fighter planes and soar through the sky.

Kirie: Sayumi Suzushiro

A pilot with precise maneuvering skills and excellent spatial awareness. She can bring out an aircraft’s true potential. She’s hot-headed and is often the first one to take action in dogfights. She has a passion for pancakes.
Enma: Eri Yukimura

She speaks in a polite and refined manner, but she actually has an extremely sharp tongue. She is Kirie’s childhood friend. She possesses great insight and observational skills, allowing her to immediately figure out other pilots’ dodging patterns and habits. Her dogfighting style is like that of a viper and once she chooses her adversary, she will follow them to the ends of the earth.
Kate: Sayaka Nakaya

A genius pilot who is able to pull off tricks and maneuvers that are impossible for an ordinary pilot. She shoots down enemies with machine-like precision. She is a logical thinker who generally prefers to remain silent and doesn’t show emotions. Even when she is talking with her friends, she only states objective facts.
Leona: Masami Seto

The commanding officer of the Kotobuki Squadron. Calm and composed with vast experience, she’s the go-to gal. She has the longest career as a pilot in the squadron and the members have a lot of faith in her. She typically has an honest fighting style and when she’s in a dogfight, she is always running multiple scenarios through her head.
Zara: Hibiku Yamamura

The executive officer of the Kotobuki Squadron who loves to drink. In a big sister-like role, she watches over the team from a distance. When she’s in a dogfight, she grasps the situation using a wide field of vision and gives orders to her allies.
Chika: Miyu Tomita

The youngest and extremely energetic member of the Kotobuki Squadron. She acts without thinking and toys with her enemies by using unpredictable attacks. She’s very headstrong and often quarrels with Kirie like a child until she gets scolded by Leona.
