What You Need to Know:
- It's pretty safe to say that Kyoto Animation has gone through a lot recently, but to see them strive through all of the adversity and bounce back is truly admirable. On Tuesday here in Japan, the beloved animation company announced that it will start accepting applications for various positions, for both fixed-term and year-round employment. The company had initially planned to start their recruiting earlier but then postponed it for the 2021 fiscal year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
- In terms of specific applications you have animators, managers, along withh systems engineers. It's also looking to aceept general affairs personnel primarily for year-round intervals, while 3D CG positions (modeling, effects, production, etc) will likely see fixed-term periods.
- In addition to the more serious roles, Kyoto Animation is also looking to accept applications for it and its Animation DO (sister company) studio's official training program. This particular course will begin October 3rd and will conclude September 25th, 2021. This program is open to graduates between the ages of 18-25.
- Of course with the current virus pandemic we're facing, a lot of work for Kyoto Animation has been put on hiatus until further notice. Let's hope that things get back on track so we all can enjoy some lovely KyoAni anime again!
Well this is certainly some beautiful news to catch up on! Good for KyoAni!
