- Today, it seems that those rumours were true, as it was learned that Manglobe filed for bankruptcy on September 29.
- The studio had reached the point of insolvency, and was in the process of sorting its debts. However, this caused difficulties for the continuation of operations, and so the decision was made to enter bankruptcy.
- Manglobe has made several popular anime, including Samurai Champloo, Hayate no Gotoku, and The World God Only Knows. Its most recent work was GANGSTA., which aired from July to September of this year.
