What You Need to Know:
- Sometimes you just need to look beyond the negatives to find a shining light of positivity, and today is that shining light. In midst of all the Coronavirus news Nintendo has decided to drop some hints at potential new titles for the Nintendo Switch.
- Hardcore Nintendo fans will know that the 35th Anniversary of Super Mario Bros is right around the corner, and Nintendo is reportedly planning a major celebration that will include some re-releases of the prestigious Super Mario catalogue.
- According to multiple sources via VGC, it was stated that we're likely to see a new Paper Mario series hit the Switch this year. All of this exciting news was supposed to be announced during E3 of this year, but we all know the outcome of that episode.
- Other notable titles include the iconic Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine, which is supposedly part of the re-release package. This of course hasn't been officially confirmed by Nintendo themselves, so it's best to take things with a grain of salt. However if this holds true, we're sure as hell going to buy every single Mario re-release there is! Oddly enough though, this news seems to coincide with talks about Nintendo working with Universal Studios and a new Mario movie, soooo...who knows?? We'll keep you posted.
