Ne0;lation really took us aback this week, folks! Chapter 15 showed us ne0 growing up slightly and continuing to get better with his hacking skills. Meanwhile though, ne0’s friend Tobari continues to get worse illness wise making him worry that her time is running out. As we see with ne0 taking down a rogue burglar entering his school—when he was showing Tobari what the interior looked like—his hacker skills can be put to good use and he begins to run quite a surprising gambit. Using his wizarding skills on the computer—Tobari loves to call Arata a wizard—ne0 has begun to hack into medical facilities and research stations in order to speed up the process of making a cure for Tobari’s illness. While the action itself is criminal, part of us began to root for ne0 as he tries to “speed up time” to save Tobari. Ne0;lation chapter 15 was easily one of our favorites of the series so far and we have to give it some love for specific parts that made the chapter so much more epic/heartwarming.
1. Proving His Wizarding Powers
Arata might be a genius, but when he dons his ne0 persona, you can truly see some magic enter into his body. Chapter 15 of Ne0;lation still continues showing us a flashback of Arata before he’s become the super wizard we know him as in the future, but it equally proves he’s always had a talent with computers and how to use them to their fullest potential. The fact that he stopped a robber in his school and that he’s trying to save Tobari is proof enough that he’s an amazing wizard.
2. The Race to Save Tobari
In our review of chapter 14, we had to wonder what happened to Tobari. While we still wonder if Arata ultimately saves her or not, the race to cure her has our hearts pumping and us cheering for ne0! Ne0;lation has had a few moments that truly made us grip our chairs in anticipation for what would come next, but this flashback arc is truly filling us with emotion and excitement. Will Arata save Tobari or will her dying be the catalyst for him becoming the crime fighter he is now?
Final Thoughts
Ne0;lation chapter 15 was easily one of the best so far that we had no faults with whatsoever! The tension rising as Tobari’s life hangs in ne0’s hands has us praying next week will come sooner so we can check out chapter 16!
