What You Need to Know:
- We have some fresh news out of Japan pertaining to Nintendo Switch and its latest peripherals, and this one is all about the 256GB Micro-SD card created by Hori. This new card is a huge step up from the more common Micro-SDs on the market and this one especially, since it's been officially licensed by Nintendo. Hori is very well known in Japan as one of the leading manufacturers for console accessories ranging from fightsticks, controllers, and of course Micro-SD cards.
- This new Micro-SD card is scheduled to release in May this year in Japan, but no official word yet has been released from the Nintendo HQ in America. The 256GB Micro-SD card will be priced at 23,738円 (roughly $240US) in Japan.
- It uses SDR104 with a UHS class I, speed class 10, along with a read/write speed of 85MB/s | 15MB/s respectively.
