Synopsis
The 3rd seasonof Non Non Biyori.
There are only five students at the Asahigaoka Branch School. They’re in different grades and have different personalities, but together they grow vegetables, catch bugs, and practice musical instruments... Countryside life changes with the passing seasons, but the excitement never stops. It’s a peaceful and ordinary life with the occasional heartwarming moment.

Renge Miyauchi: Kotori Koiwai
A first-year elementary school student at Asahigaoka branch school, she’s the youngest of the group. She adds a superfluous “non” at the end of sentences as a verbal tic. She has a unique outlook, and sometimes makes silly remarks that sound very profound at first. Her birthday is on December 3.
Hotaru Ichijo: Rie Murakawa
A fifth-year elementary school student who transferred from Tokyo. She’s quite tall for her age, to the point that the local ladies try to set her up with their sons. Her birthday is on May 28.
Natsumi Koshigaya: Ayane Sakura
A first-year middle school student. She’s always cheerful and acts as the group’s moodmaker. She enjoys playing pranks. Her birthday is on January 24.
Komari Koshigaya: Kana Asumi
Natsumi’s older sister. She’s a second-year middle school student. While she’s the oldest female student at Asahigaoka branch school, she’s very conscious of the fact that she’s only 140 cm tall. Her birthday is on September 14.
Suguru Koshigaya: -
Natsumi and Komari’s older brother. A third-year middle school student, he’s the oldest at Asahigaoka Branch School. However, he doesn’t have much presence. His birthday is on April 11.
Kazuho Miyauchi: Kaori Natsuka
24 years old. Renge’s older sister. She’s a teacher at Asahigaoka Branch School but sometimes falls asleep during class...
Kaede Kagayama: Rina Satou
20 years old. A graduate student of Asahigaoka Branch School, and she currently runs a local candy store.
Hikage Miyauchi: Misato Fukuzono
A first-year high school student. Renge and Kazuho’s sister. She was born in the countryside but goes to high school in Tokyo.
Konomi Fujimiya: Ryouko Shintani
A third-year high school student. A graduate student of Asahigaoka Branch School, she lives next door to the Koshigayas. She seems ladylike but actually has a very curious personality.
Akane Shinoda: Aimi Tanaka
A first-year high school student. She belongs to the wind instrument club and is Konomi’s junior. She plays the flute.
Shiori: Misaki Kuno
A daughter of village's police officer. She is junior to Renge and has a lot of curiosity. She met Renge when she got lost.
