Onigiri
Synopsis
This other Japan is infested with the evil spirits of rivers and mountains. Magical beings born from the abyss, Kamikui (God Eaters), bare their fangs to the Gods, the leaders of all things, and strike fear into the hearts of people. However, the gods were able to put an end to their strung-out struggle to the death by sealing the Kamikui using three great sacred boundaries.
Some time after this, one of the great sacred boundaries was broken by someone or something. With the earth in danger once again, five girls rise up! Gozen Shizuka, Yoshitsune, Douji Ibaraki, Kaguya, and Amaterasu are aiming to suppress the Kamikui Satan!! In five minute episodes?!

Gozen Shizuka

The princess of a shogunate who owns a large mansion in Edo. As a result of her being strictly disciplined from a young age to be a princess, she ran away from home. To put it nicely, she has an inner fortitude. To put it less nicely, she’s stubborn. She’s always able to lighten up the situation with her positive words.
Yoshitsune
Voice Actor: Eriko Matsui
A sincere girl who’s strict with others and even more strict on herself, but is super spoilt with Gozen Shizuka, who she is related to. A guardian of the Shogunate and appointed monster suppressor. When it comes to everything except Gozen Shizuka she is a sensible person, but when it comes to her she loses all common sense.
Douji Ibaraki
Voice Actor: Suzuko Mimori
A demon girl who runs a travelling bar. She loves alcohol more than three meals a day and is often drinking her own merchandise. Her favourite is catnip liquor. A cheerful girl who loves messing around with her friends.
Kaguya
Voice Actor: Izumi Kitta
A strange sort of girl whose words and actions are completely nonsensical. What she’s thinking and where she came from is also unknown. Her hobbies are surfing the net and the giant electronic block print newspaper. When she gets bored she starts forum threads or trolls people. She wears an eyepatch, so she’s got chuunibyou. Probably.
Amaterasu
Voice Actor: Natsuko Hara
The very sun goddess that sealed the Kamikui in the past. Due to the tearing down of the great sacred boundary a few years ago, she’s turned into a little girl. She pulls of the little girl look well and knows how to use it to get her way.
