Synopsis
The year is 2138. The online game Yggdrasil, which was once popular, is about to be cancelled. Player Momonga, his comrades, and their prosperous guild have silently been waiting for this moment. However, even once the servers have shut down, the game doesn’t log them out, and the NPCs seem to have suddenly developed wills of their own. Outside of the guild, a whole new world is developing.

Momonga / Ainz: Hino Satoshi
The head of the Ainz Ooal Gown guild and the ruler of the Great Tomb of Nazarick. When the DMMO-RPG Yggdrasil shuts down, he is transported to another world, still in the form of his skeletal avatar.
Albedo: Yumi Hara
One of the NPCs that serves the Almighty 41 Supreme Beings, she is the Overseer of the Floor Guardians of the Great Tomb of Nazarick and stands at the top of all NPCs. She is an extremely beautiful woman but, possibly due to Momonga changing some of her settings, she has an extremely disappointing side...
Shalltear Bloodfallen: Sumire Uesaka
One of the NPCs that serves the Almighty 41 Supreme Beings and the Floor Guardian of the first to third floors in the Great Tomb of Nazarick. A so-called vampire, she has the appearance of a young girl, but in one-on-one battles she is the strongest of the Floor Guardians. She has very strange taste, and absolutely adores Momonga.
Aura Bella Fiora: Emiri Katou
One of the NPCs that serves the Almighty 41 Supreme Beings and the Floor Guardian of the 6th floor in the Great Tomb of Nazarick. A young girl whose defining feature is her different-coloured eyes, she cross-dresses due to the playful nature of the player that created her. She’s always cheerful and full of energy. Mare is her younger brother.
Mare Bello Fiore: Yumi Uchiyama
One of the NPCs that serves the Almighty 41 Supreme Beings and the Floor Guardian of the 6th floor in the Great Tomb of Nazarick. Just like Aura, this young man has different-coloured eyes and is crossdressing due to his creator. He’s timid and always hesitant, and can’t go against his older sister.
Demiurge: Masayuki Katou
One of the NPCs that serves the Almighty 41 Supreme Beings and the Floor Guardian of the 7th floor in the Great Tomb of Nazarick. He has an extremely rare intellect and is involved in various plans and strategies related to Nazarick. He has absolute devotion to Momonga and will show no mercy towards those who try to stand in his way, even if their his relatives.
Cocytus: Kenta Miyake
One of the NPCs that serves the Almighty 41 Supreme Beings and the Floor Guardian of the 5th floor in the Great Tomb of Nazarick. He’s a giant, grotesque looking guardian whose appearance evokes the image of an insect walking on two feet. He’s a warrior through and through; no matter how weak or inferior his opponents may be, he respects those who have the fighting spirit of a warrior.
Sebas Tian: Shigeru Chiba
One of the NPCs that serves the Almighty 41 Supreme Beings and the head butler of the Great Tomb of Nazarick. He commands the combat maid squad Pleiades. Although he is not a Floor Guardian, he boasts power equal to theirs and can hold his own in combat. He is also a man of character who sees helping the weak as the right thing to do.
