What You Need to Know:
- Today, during its PlayStation 5 Showcase livestream, Sony Interactive Entertainment announced that the highly-anticipated console will launch on November 12th 2020 in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea. The PS5 will be available to the rest of the world on Nov. 19.
- The standard version of the PlayStation 5 will cost $499 and the PS5 Digital Edition—which has no disc drive—will cost $399!
- Some of the games already announced for the platform include Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Horizon Forbidden West, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Gran Tirismo 7, and Sackboy A Big Adventure.
