What You Need to Know:
- While news this week has been more positive than good with many Twitter users sharing their social distancing experiences, it seems like the pesky Coronavirus continues to annoy people here in Japan. A couple days ago it was announced via the official Kojima Productions Twitter page that the studio will be shut down, due to one of the employees being positively diagnosed with the COVID-19 virus. According to the source, the employee had developed early symptoms March 20th but was tested positive 10 days later.
- For now, the office will be closed so that it can disinfected and for the time being, employees are asked to work from home until things are cleaned up. Not even the Solid Snake could stop the spread of the Coronavirus, but at least precautions are being made to ensure everyone is safe and the virus doesn't spread any more than it already has.
- The health of the Kojima Productions team is high priority as stated in the official document and so we wish the team all the best in cleaning up this mess as soon as possible.
Sam Porter definitelyt can't supply enough packages for this one...
It certainly does suck but I commend the company for taking immediate action! Good on them.
