Samurai 8: Hachimaru Den finally shows some life, folks! Chapter 10 has Ata—the space samurai blasting through everything—facing off against another space samurai who apparently is very strong. However, Ata dispels this samurai with ease and you have to be amazed at his brute force. Meanwhile, Hachimaru appears back to the party with Ann, but his father—who sensed danger—quickly appears to drag his son back home. Ann overhears the reveal that Hachimaru isn’t any prodigy but is the son of a mechanic which should prove to be an interesting element later, however the real highlight of chapter 10 is Ata appearing before the group! Clearly Ata knows Hachimaru’s dad; Yet what’s even scarier is the face Daruma and Dr. Furuta make. Ata is powerful, but how powerful and legendary is this dude?! An epic battle should be approaching next chapter, however in the meantime, chapter 10 of Samurai 8: Hachimaru Den did a good job pumping us up for it! Our review only has positives to mention which makes us happy here at Honey’s Anime!
1. Ata Is A Beast!
Chapter 10 throws in another apparently powerful samurai and we thought maybe Ata would be tested finally. Our thoughts were very wrong as this samurai was easily defeated by Ata as if he was an annoying buzzing fly. Ata is a powerful samurai…how will Hachimaru win against him?!
2. Who Exactly Is Hachimaru’s Dad?!
Hachimaru’s dad has been an interesting element in Samurai 8: Hachimaru Den. While we can guess he’s not really his father, why did he decide then to take Hachimaru as his son and how far in the universe is he known? We really don’t have any theories on this subject, but if you do, comment below to let us know!
Final Thoughts
Finally, Samurai 8: Hachimaru Den has proven itself to be a bit more interesting! This series has been more downs than ups for the last several chapters; regardless, knowing who is behind this manga, makes us hope it can turn around soon. With chapter 10 Samurai 8: Hachimaru Den has indeed gained a bit of love from us but only future chapters will truly prove if this series can be even close to Kishimoto’s Naruto.
