Samurai 8: Hachimaru Den chapter 18 didn't waste anytime throwing our samurai into a rather odd predicament. Our two strangers make the claim they are robbing the ship of its worth thus Daruma realizes these two are ronin thieves. Thankfully, as skilled as they seem they are also like a comedy duo. Ryo almost attacks his own partner due to his lack of being extremely specific and even stops briefly from hitting Daruma to ask Daruma's gender. Nevertheless, our ronin don't do that well to face off against Daruma thanks to the ship being able to take his orders and attack them internally.

However, all the fighting comes to an abrupt end when the ship is told they need to pay for a rather extravagant item that wasn't paid for by Hachimaru! After some laughing and some basics in math/finance, our two ronin tell our heroes a way to make a ton of money and also test their sword skills out! A tournament is being held close by and all are allowed to enter but apparently a strong challenger with a key is beating the competition! With a possible keyholder in the midst, Daruma and Hachimaru know where to go next! We can't wait to see who will participate in this upcoming tourney and if our samurai stand a chance against stronger opponents! 1. Tournament and Key Holder

Well, looks like Daruma was right on the money about Hachimaru's gravity. While our two strange thief ronin might be truly goofy, they don't seem like liars. With a possible means of finding a new keyholder—and make a ton of money—Hachimaru and Daruma are clearly heading to fight and see if they can make something happen! Here's hoping our thieves don't try anything sneaky though!

2. Comedic Kindness

Chapter 18 of Samurai 8: Hachimaru Den had a truly nice—if not comedic—gesture performed by our main samurai. After Ann ruined her sash trying to help his dad, Hachimaru went and bought her a brand new gold one…that also happened to be extremely expensive. Still, you have got to love how kind Hachimaru is. Now if we can teach the kid some business and math etitic he might become a truly upstanding samurai.

Final Thoughts

Samurai 8: Hachimaru Den chapter 18 has given our heroes a destination one that might also net them some nice cash! Plus, Hachimaru needs to train so this tournament will give him a nice challenge to see if he can even hold a candle to Ata.
