- Last week, the official website for Seirei Gensouki (Spirit Chronicles) announced that the popular isekai fantasy novel will be adapted into anime as a 15th Anniversary work.
- No release date was announced but a PV and key visual were released as well as specialcommemoraative art from the original artists!
- Spirit Chronicles follows Rio, an orphan boy who has only lived in slums, barely surviving. After diying in an accident, a powerful magic awakens in Rio and he finds himself in a different world of swords and magic. After he helps rescue a kidnapped princess, Rio enrolls in a prestigious academy where he must make his way up from the bottom, changing his harsh fate while meeting and parting with new friends.
