- Sentai Filmworks announced today that it acquired worldwide (ex-Asia) rights to NAMUAMIDABUTSU! -UTENA-.
- Akira Oguro (the key animator for Patlabor 2: The Movie and Sailor Moon S: The Movie) directs DMM’s (Katsugeki: Touken Ranbu, Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru, Urara Meirocho) latest series while Erika Yoshida (Trickster) is in charge of the series composition. Yoshiaki Fujisawa (GATE, Land of the Lustrous) is composing the music. Voice talents include Masaaki Mizunaka (Classroom of the Elite, How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord) as Taishakuten, Tomoaki Maeno (Hakkenden: Eight Dogs of the East, Katsugeki: Touken Ranbu) as Bonten, Showtaro Morikubo (Hakuoki ~Demon of the Fleeting Blossom~, Magi: The Kingdom of Magic) as Shaka Nyorai and Takeo Otsuka (Dimension High School, Run with the Wind) as Mara.
- Long before superheroes, there were legends. One of them begins with Shaka Nyorai, whose bravery and enlightenment once saved humanity forever.
