Soma Yukihira, who has been honing his cooking skills at his family diner, “Yukihira,” all his life, enters a super elite culinary academy called “Totsuki Saryo Culinary Academy”. He improves as a chef through interactions with other chefs in and out of the academy, but everything changes when Azami Nakiri takes over the commander-in-chief position at the academy. With the Central Gourmet Organization ruling over the academy, the students are no longer allowed to cook freely. Soma and friends stood against the regime and as a result, they were labeled as rebels of the academy!

The time for the advancement exams has arrived. Soma and his friends managed to pass the exams despite some interference, but the Central Gourmet Organization will stop at nothing to get them out! Finally, some of Soma’s friends lose and are sentenced to be expelled! In order to overcome this situation, Soma and the remaining rebels challenge the new council members and the Azami regime to a Régiment du Cuisine! The 1st bout was easily won by the rebels, but this is only the beginning of the battle to decide their fates. The 2nd bout is about to begin!

A first year student at Tootsuki Culinary Academy. He was working hard training under his father at his restaurant, Yukihira, in order to become an even better chef than him, but he ended up transferring to famous culinary school Tootsuki Academy. Thanks to being raised in a cooking environment since the age of three, he has excellent skills, and his bold and daring personality means he causes quite the stir at school!

Erina Nakiri

Voice Actor: Hisako Kanemoto

A first year student at Tootsuki Culinary Academy. She passed Tootsuki Middle School’s internal advancement test with top marks, and is one of the Tootsuki Elite Ten, the highest decision-making authority in the school. She is also the granddaughter of Senzaemon Nakiri, the director of the academy. Has a rare ability called ‘God’s Tongue’, and has been a professional taster for famous restaurants since she was young.

Megumi Tadokoro

Voice Actor: Minami Takahashi

A first year student at Tootsuki Culinary Academy. She came to Tokyo from a rural town in the northeast to enter the school. Although she progressed to the high school division from Tootsuki Middle School, she had quite bad grades on the entrance exam. Therefore, if she fails one more time or gets an E, she will be expelled. She is kind and gentle, and her cooking is comforting. It would be good if she could show off her skills without getting so nervous!

Ikumi Mito

Voice Actor: Shizuka Ishigami

A first year student at Tootsuki Culinary Academy. A meat specialist who has never got a grade other than A for her meat dishes. Contrary to her sexy appearance and wild behaviour, when it comes to meat she is surprisingly sensitive. Dislikes her nickname Nikumi, and will get angry at anyone other than Soma that calls her it.

Takumi Aldini

Voice Actor: Natsuki Hanae

A first year student at Tootsuki Culinary Academy. He is an exchange student from Italy, who transferred in his second year of middle school. Has helped out at his family restaurant (Trattoria) since he was younger, alongside his younger twin brother, Isami. Has on-the-job training, is excellent with Italian cuisine, and sees Soma as his rival. Is super popular with girls and has his own fan club at school.
