What You Need to Know:
- A new key visual has been released for the second part of seven-part anime project, Space Battleship Yamato 2202 (Uchuu Senkan Yamato 2202: Ai no Senshi-tachi).
- The second part titled Hasshin-hen (Take-off Arc) follows the first, Koushi-hen (Beginning Arc), and will be shown in certain theatres in Japan on 24 June 2017.
- The new Space Battleship Yamato 2202 is inspired by the 1978 Farewell Space Battleship Yamato (Saraba Uchuu Senkan Yamato Ai no Senshi-tachi). More information is expected soon about the other five parts of the anime.
