- The summer edition of SQUARE ENIX PRESENTS, the company’s digital show where world premieres, new game announcements, updates and news is delivered directly to the global gaming community, took place on June 13 as a Keynote during the all-digital E3 2021 event, as well as on Square Enix’s official Twitch and YouTube channels.
- Today, we're gathering the most exciting announcements of the show!
- The first announcement was Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, a bold third-person narrative action-adventure game which combines original storytelling with electrifying single-player gameplay. Developed by Eidos-Montréal in collaboration with Marvel Entertainment, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy will release simultaneously on the PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles, and on PC, and streaming via GeForce NOW on October 26, 2021.
- Master Star-Lord’s dynamic combat style to obliterate foes with his Element Blasters and call on the unique abilities of each Guardian to defeat a wild variety of interplanetary enemies. Also, as self-proclaimed leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy, players will engage in select player-choice driven dialogue and interactions between Quill and the Guardians that further strengthens the bonds within this dysfunctional family.
- Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy wouldn’t be complete without a killer soundtrack to rock out to while soaring through space in the Milano. The game is jam-packed with classic 1980s hits and kicking original tracks.
- Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy will be available on PlayStation®5 console, PlayStation®4 console, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles, and PC digital, and streaming via GeForce NOW on October 26, 2021. - SQUARE ENIX® announced that the six original FINAL FANTASY® titles that inspired a generation of RPG Fans are coming to life once more in the FINAL FANTASY pixel remaster series. Fans and newcomers are invited to dive into six masterpieces that bridge the ages with unique tales of epic adventure. The company will release the beloved titles individually, from FINAL FANTASY I through FINAL FANTASY VI, for Steam® and mobile platforms.

- For over 30 years, the FINAL FANTASY series has delighted generations of gamers and millions of players worldwide through beloved Role Playing adventures that are built upon the benchmarks of spectacular visuals, highly imaginative worlds rich stories, memorable characters and technical and gameplay innovation leading the industry and earning the highest accolades from around the world. Each mainline game in the series is a completely new experience, and an ideal entry point to the series. Titles of the series have sold over 161 million units worldwide.
- STRANGER OF PARADISE FINAL FANTASY ORIGIN was also revealed as part of the SQUARE ENIX PRESENTS livestream at E3. The new action RPG has been made in collaboration with Team NINJA from KOEI TECMO GAMES, creators of the NINJA GAIDEN and Nioh series, and brings a new vision to the FINAL FANTASY® series. Players will be able to purchase STRANGER OF PARADISE FINAL FANTASY ORIGIN on PlayStation®5 (PS5™), PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC in 2022.
- The STRANGER OF PARADISE FINAL FANTASY ORIGIN TRIAL VERSION was also announced during the showcase, which gives players the opportunity to experience a taste of the full game centering on Jack and his allies—Ash and Jed—as they throw open the gates to the Chaos Shrine. Burning with the resolve to defeat Chaos, and with the memories of their struggle buried deep in their hearts, are they the foretold Warriors of Light?
- Players of the STRANGER OF PARADISE FINAL FANTASY ORIGIN TRIAL VERSION can explore this dark fantasy world as they battle an array of iconic monsters from the FINAL FANTASY series, using powerful spells and abilities from a sample of jobs including warrior, dragoon and black mage.
- The STRANGER OF PARADISE FINAL FANTASY ORIGIN TRIAL VERSION will be available for free on PS5™ beginning today, June 13th, 2021 and through June 24th, 2021 7:59 p.m. (PDT) / 3:59 p.m. (BST)*. - SQUARE ENIX® teased new footage of the opening cinematic for Legend of Mana™, the remastered version of the fourth instalment in the classic Mana series.
- Legend of Mana is rated T (Teen) by the ESRB and will be available digitally for $29.99 on the Nintendo Switch™ system, the PlayStation®4 console and PC (STEAM®) on June 24. Players who purchase Legend of Mana before July 23 will receive an early purchase reward, including ten avatars and the choice of a custom Legend of Mana theme on the PlayStation®4 console or a Legend of Mana Wallpaper on PC (STEAM®). - The Mana series, known as Seiken Densetsu in Japan, is a long-running action-RPG series spanning multiple entries for nearly three decades. The series is known for its enchanting characters, story and music, as well as pioneering an action-oriented approach to traditional JRPG combat. With the release of Collection of Mana for Nintendo Switch™ in 2019, new and existing players can now immerse themselves in the enchanting world of the Mana series with the first three classic titles—FINAL FANTASY® ADVENTURE, Secret of Mana® and Trials of Mana™—in their original form. In 2020, a full high-definition 3D remake of Trials of Mana was also released for modern platforms, selling over one million copies to date. Currently, an updated version of Legend of Mana™ is set to release on June 24, 2021, bringing remastered visuals and the “Ring Ring Land'' mini-game to the West for the first time.

- In FINAL FANTASY VII THE FIRST SOLDIER, players will participate in an intense battle royale, where they must fight to be the last SOLDIER standing.
- A new trailer was released for BABYLON’S FALL
- The Life is Strange Remastered Collection will be available as part of the Life is Strange True Colors Ultimate Edition on September 10, and also released as a stand-alone edition on September 30!
