The story is about Aki Shiina who wants to be manlier. When he enters middle school, he uses it as an opportunity to move to Tokyo and move into Sunohara Manor, a dormitory for students. What is waiting for him is a manager who is rather big in many ways, Akaya Sunohara, and three girls who will become his seniors.

Oppai, shotas, and harems, oh my! Welcome to Sunohara-sou no Kanrinin-san, which follows a shota who is sick of being treated like a girl. In fact, Aki is so sick of it that he moves to a new city in hopes of achieving recognition as a man. Fortunately for him, he’s been accepted at an all girl dorm because the dorm head mistook him for a girl and she’s absolutely smitten by him. Well, if that doesn’t scream fan service, I don’t know what will, but Sunohara-sou no Kanrinin-san is full of it so be prepared for all the oppai and groping! And of course, miscommunications! It’s alright if Aki is a shota, right? That being said, Aki has to deal with his own fair share of sexual harassment from the girls. This anime is shamelessly full of fanservice, but it’s still enjoyable as a slice of life with the cute animation and easy going slice of life story. It’s nice to sometimes just watch an anime that doesn’t warrant all of your attention to every detail, you know?
