What You Need to Know:
- It has been announced that seiyuu Takahiro Sakurai, known for roles such as Izuru Kira from Bleach and Suzaku Kururugi from Code Geass, will be making his first ever drama appearance this July in the live action adaptation of Koe Koi.
- However, it seems we won't get to see all that much of him. Why? Well, he's playing protagonist Matsubara-kun - who, for certain unknown reasons, always wears a paper bag on his head.
- For those of you unfamiliar with Koe Koi, the full-colour manga is currently being serialised on growing online platform Comico. The story follows Yuiko, a high school girl who falls in love with her classmate Matsubara-kun, despite not knowing what he looks like.
- Yuiko's role will be played by Mei Nagano, and the super-pure school council president who falls for her, Makoto, will be played by Ryou Ryuusei. Check out the first set of visuals below!

Wait, so he wears that paper bag ALL THE TIME? How does he get away with it at school?!
Who cares? This series is so so cute, I'm so excited to hear that it's getting an adaptation - and with Takahiro Sakurai of all people!
