Separated for a year, Taiju Ooki and Yuzuriha Ogawa had to endure siding with the enemy of mankind—Tsukasa—and that wasn’t an easy challenge to overcome. Thankfully, their admiration and care for one another—despite not yet being a true boyfriend and girlfriend—gave them the strength to endure until Senku was able to contact the duo. Now reunited with the kingdom of science, Yuzuriha and Taiju can help Senku stop the brute Tsukasa and hopefully get one step closer to rebuilding the world in Dr. Stone.

Childhood friends Noir Starga and Emma Brightness come from two different worlds—Noir being a baronette and Emma being of royal lineage—but that hasn’t stopped the pair from being quite close. Even though they claim to be just friends to all those around them—namely the women who have fallen for Noir—these two are quite close. They have kissed and made out numerous times and Noir even recently admitted how important Emma is to him. So yes, these two aren’t an official couple but the way they act and the things they do are way beyond what is considered normal childhood friendship.

Opposites attract and that couldn’t be better proven thanks to Izumi Miyamura and Kyouko Hori. While Izumi comes across as a smart and collected young man while at school, Hori knows better as he shows his true colors outside. Hori herself isn’t perfect and Miyamura’s edgy persona tends to activate her “hidden” personality that she tries to hide. These two seem truly opposite but this is why their dynamic works so well, they make each other stronger as a pair.
Despite Hori’s oddness--and she can indeed be odd--Miyamura embraces her other side and sees that as a cute/lovable trait. Miyamura has also relied on Hori to awaken his inner-self and not keep it painfully bottled within. As with any great couple, love is supposed to make the pair stronger despite their flaws and weaknesses and that is what we love about Miyamura and Hori. If you need a definitive couple that can prove love is different for all then you just need to look towards the best pair of Horimiya.

We know many Re:Zero fans have always shipped Rem and Subaru since season one and we can understand, those two are just adorable. Yet, Subaru has finally admitted his love for Emilia—at the dismay of those who shipped him with our demon maid—and those who begged for this to union to happen have finally gotten their wish. That’s right folks, in season 2 of Re:Zero, Emilia and Subaru finally shared their love for one another in a kiss that shook the anime world!

Subaru has long tried to show his great love for Emilia but in episode 40, he finally realized words weren’t going to be enough to convince the hesitant Emilia. After having undergone numerous pains thanks to the trials, Emilia and Subaru finally had a long talk that resulted in a lot of yelling but also the kiss that proved just how much these two love one another. We can only hope their relationship goes further in the next season of Re:Zero but, for now, we’re quite content with the way these two sealed their destinies together.
