What You Need to Know:
- A special Konosuba broadcast was held yesterday featuring voice actors Jun Fukushima (Kazuma) and Rie Takahashi (Megumin). During the special, an announcement was made that the franchise will have a new animated project! At the moment not many details have been revealed, but it is expected that new news will be released over time.
- The light novel Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!, abbreviated as Konosuba!, is written by Natsume Akatsuki and illustrated by Kurone Mishima and published onKadokawa Seaker Bunko from October 2013 to May 2020.
- An anime adaptation was released in 2016, produced by Studio Deen and directed by Takaomi Kanasaki. A second season and a movie were also released in 2017 and 2019 respecitvely as well as two OVAs, one in 2016 and one in 2017.
- Konosuba Synopsis: In true isekai fashion, Kazuma Satou dies. After death, Kazuma has two options ahead of him. He can pass on and go to heaven, or he can be revived in a new world of fantasy. He picks the new world and goes with the goddess who restored him to start his new adventure! Unlike the games he loved in his previous life, Kazuma is quickly inundated with doing all the things it takes to make his (and his companion's) lives in the new world flourish. Our heroes have a long and silly road ahead before they can be considered thriving!
